1. Information we collect
We process information you provide or create while using the service, including:
- account details such as your email address, display name, profile and authentication records;
- uploaded video, audio, images, transcripts, editing instructions, brand preferences, comments, temporary voice feedback recordings and generated project files;
- billing references, subscription status and invoice details supplied by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers;
- technical and usage information such as request logs, device and browser information, errors, render status and feature activity;
- messages you send when asking for support or a refund.
2. Why we use it
We use this information to provide and secure Loop Studio, transcribe and render your projects, remember your editing preferences, process subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, improve reliability and comply with legal obligations.
Our legal bases under European data protection law are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving a secure service, compliance with legal obligations and, where required, your consent.
3. Where your content goes
Loop Studio uses specialist providers to operate the service. These currently include Supabase for accounts, databases, contact messages and file storage; Cloudflare for delivery and application hosting; Stripe for billing; Resend for transactional email and contact notifications; ElevenLabs for source-video transcription; Fish Audio for spoken feedback transcription; Anthropic for FAQ-based support answers; and Amazon Web Services with Remotion for rendering. We store submitted FAQ questions and generated answers to improve support and understand recurring product questions.
Claude, Codex, or another connected AI agent may read and change project information when you instruct it through Loop Studio's MCP connection. That processing also follows the terms and privacy settings of the account you connect.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your private footage to train our own AI models. We share data with providers only as needed to run the service, comply with law or protect the service and its users.
4. Private and shared content
Source uploads are stored in a private workspace. Rendered output links may be accessible to anyone who receives the link, so treat them as shareable.
A small number of authorized service operators may open recent rendered outputs when reasonably necessary to investigate editing quality, reliability, support or security. This access is limited to a private admin tool and does not make footage public or use it to train our AI models.
If you share an edit with the community, its video, public style description, tags, profile identity, likes and discussion are visible to other authenticated Loop Studio members. Private creative-memory notes are not included. Reports are available only to you and service operators. You can remove your own post or comments, and deleting its source video also removes the shared post.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
We keep account, profile and project information while your account is active. Voice feedback audio is sent to Fish Audio for transcription and is not stored in your Loop Studio project; the transcript is saved only when you add it as a feedback note. Purchase and invoice records are kept for up to seven years to meet Dutch tax and accounting obligations. Support communications may be kept for up to three years. After an account deletion request, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, typically 30 days, except where the law requires us to retain it.
PostHog product analytics events are retained for up to 12 months. Optional masked session recordings are retained for 30 days.
7. Security
We use access controls, tenant-scoped database rules, private source storage, signed links and hashed MCP credentials. No online service can promise absolute security. Keep your password, MCP token and share links private, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
8. Cookies, analytics and session replay
Loop Studio uses essential cookies and similar storage for authentication, security and basic product operation. With your consent, we also use PostHog Cloud EU for product analytics and session replay so we can understand the path from landing page to a successful edit and diagnose confusing experiences.
Optional analytics may collect page visits, feature activity, clicks, device and browser details, approximate location derived from your network address, and a pseudonymous session recording. We configure session replay to mask every input and to hide customer footage, transcripts and other elements marked as private. Query strings are removed from captured URLs. We do not use PostHog for advertising.
With separate marketing consent, we use the Meta Pixel and Conversions API to measure landing-page visits and completed free-account registrations and improve our advertising. Meta may receive cookie identifiers, browser and network details, and hashed email and account identifiers for matching. We do not send video content, transcripts or editing prompts to Meta. A signup is counted after account confirmation, not when a signup button is clicked. Browser and server registration events use the same identifier to avoid double counting.
You can accept or decline product analytics and marketing separately in Privacy settings, and change your choices later. Declining optional tracking does not prevent you from using Loop Studio. Queued matching data is cleared after successful delivery, withdrawal or a maximum delivery window of 24 hours; delivery status records are kept for seven days. Marketing consent is stored for six months; Meta manages the retention of data it receives under its own privacy policy.
Separately, we record a limited set of account and service milestones needed to operate and improve the product: account creation and sign-in, agent connection, whether an upload became editable, whether an edit or export completed, and checkout, subscription and invoice status. These records may be linked to your account identifier, but do not contain your email address, filenames, prompts, transcripts or footage and do not include session replay. We process these operational records to provide the service, understand reliability and conversion, and maintain accurate billing and retention records. When your AI assistant edits a video through Loop Studio, it may also send us your request in your own words; we keep that request text with the video for 90 days to deliver and improve your edits.
You can accept or decline optional browser analytics and session replay when prompted and change that choice at any time. That preference does not disable the limited operational records described above.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Email luuk@alleman.nl. We may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
10. Children
Loop Studio is not intended for children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate permission.
11. Changes
We may update this policy as the product or our providers change. The date above shows the latest version. We will give appropriate notice of material changes.
